Popular Ghanaian gospel musician and producer Nacee recently made a hint about a new song that will be used as part of former President John Dramani Mahama’s campaign.
The release of a campaign song is a significant event that sets the tone for the political discourse ahead as the political climate heats up in front of the next elections.
His contribution to the creation of campaign anthems such as “E dey bee,” “Onaapo,” and “Mahama Okada” sets the standard for supporters and political enthusiasts to steer the discourse.
During a recent interview on Onua TV, the artist made subtle allusions to the completion of the new campaign song in response to a question regarding his plans for the 2024 elections.
The renowned sound engineer promised that the song is finished and will soon be made available by the NDC.
“Oh, I have composed a song for Mahama… It is done… the NDC will release the song very soon,”
Political campaign songs are essential because they serve as focal points for supporters and express the main ideas and messages of the contenders.
Nacee has composed music for other political figures before, so his involvement in creating political songs goes beyond his collaborations with Mahama.
