At least five persons were critically injured after a tipper truck lost control and slammed with several automobiles on the God Dey-Access Bank stretch in Ho Bankoe on Monday afternoon.
The horrible accident damaged at least eight automobiles, including two taxis, rendering them unrecognizable.
Gideon Agbesi, a cab driver from Ho, was among those killed in the crash.
He claimed he had to flee for his life after hearing the deafening sounds of the approaching tipper truck.
Personnel from the Ghana Police Service’s Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) and the Ghana National Fire Service were on the scene to clear the debris of the damaged vehicles and maintain the smooth flow of traffic.
