Akosua Hanson, an OAP, writer, and feminist, has regretted the huge outflow of young dynamic professionals and artists from Ghana, expressing worry that many people are leaving the nation owing to the country’s deteriorating condition of affairs.
Akosua Hanson expressed regret about the departure of professionals and prospective nation builders due to the country’s difficult environment.
“A lot of people leave the country because things have been run down to the ground. And obviously, it’s sad that we are losing our professionals. It’s sad that we are losing people who can be society builders, community builders when they go,” She stressed the necessity of fostering an atmosphere in which residents may travel overseas for various purposes and return home in an interview with A J Sarpong on TV3, saying that this tendency should serve as a warning message to the government.
“This should be a flag. This should be a huge red flag to the government. Because people should be able to travel and go and come back,”
She claimed a lack of government support for youth and other professionals, comparing this with countries that have established arts funds to give financing and chances for their residents to cooperate with people from other countries.
In her own words,
“So I wish that people can travel. But it’s not because we are escaping this very dangerous situation. It’s because we are traveling because we want to build, we want to see it as part of nation-building.” He finds the government’s lack of attention about this matter disturbing. Akosua Hanson’s statements emphasize the importance of improved circumstances and support mechanisms in Ghana in order to maintain and develop its talent and professionals.
