Hajia4Reall, a Ghanaian socialite, actress, and singer born Mona Montrage Faiz, has made a rare appearance on social media.
Hajia4Reall was adamant that she would prevail in her continuing legal struggle in the United States.
In an Instagram post today, September 5, the socialite turned musician, who was extradited from the United Kingdom to the United States in May this year for allegedly swindling over $2 million from older, single American men and women in a twisted lonely hearts scam, expressed her optimism about the ongoing legal battle.
She wrote, “Not every bullet wound is from the battle field, some bullet wounds are stray bullets. My current life story… I will be vindicated when all is said and done. It’s only a matter of time and the light of truth will outshine the darkness.”
The social media influencer, whose Instagram account was among the top ten most followed in Ghana, was detained in the UK on November 10, 2022, for her involvement in what was suspected to be online fraud at the time.
She was later extradited from the UK to the US in May for allegedly defrauding over $2 million from elderly, single American men and women in a twisted lonely hearts scheme, according to US federal authorities on Monday, May 15, 2023.
Later, Hajia 4Reall was charged with wire fraud, money laundering, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy. If convicted on the most serious charge, she faces up to 20 years in jail.
