OV, a Ghanaian performer, revealed that her alleged fiancé abandoned her at the altar before they could exchange vows.
She narrated the painful occurrence in which her fiance did not show up for the wedding ceremony and instead sent her a note claiming that he was leaving the country.
OV spoke candidly on Angel FM in Accra about the traumatic event that unexpectedly ended her engagement. She stated,
“I was on the verge of getting married but was left waiting. I was dressed in my wedding gown, my makeup and hair were perfectly done, and my family was gathered at my godfather’s house, which was the chosen venue.”
Although OV did not identify the year of this loss, she did indicate that the terrible breakup happened by text message.
The abrupt termination of her romance exemplifies the unexpected turns that real-life situations sometimes take.
She also indicated that she had no plans to reconcile with her ex-fiancé. If such a case came, she would make sure he faced the penalties.
OV, noted for her dancehall and reggae abilities, has been out of the music industry for a few years following her divorce from her former record label boss, Stonebwoy.
She recently gave interviews announcing her comeback to the music business after a long break.
