Reverend Obofour’s recent attendance at the Ridge Condos Ghana Exclusive All-Black Party stirred social media debate.
The Kumasi event was hosted to commemorate the presentation of the new luxury units at Ridge Condos Ghana.
Several public personalities attended the meeting, including Michy, Hajia Bintu, Fella Makafui, and Nana Ama McBrown.
A video circulating on social media, however, shows the founder and head of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC) globally entering the celebration venue, escorted by his assistants.
Some Ghanaians were taken aback by his sudden attendance, and they wondered why a pastor would attend such an upmarket celebration.
On the other side, others have defended his presence, claiming that as long as the gathering maintained a decent ambiance, Reverend Obofour’s involvement should be acceptable.
Many Ghanaian artists performed during the occasion while Obofour spoke with others seated around him.
During rapper YPee’s performance, the Anointed Palace Chapel founder rushed on stage to spray some cash on him.
Ghanaians have criticized Reverend Obofour’s films from the Ridge Condos All Black Party. For many, the celebration resembled a nightclub, and a’man of God’ should not be seen mixing in such an environment.
