Fire has damaged some of the studio where Nana Ama McBrown’s Onua Showtime on Onua TV was broadcast.
Although the source of the fire incident is yet unknown, firefighters from the Headquarters Substation responded swiftly and were able to contain it.
The GNFS said in a post on its Facebook page that their team was successful in keeping the fire from spreading to other portions of TV3’s property.

A crew from the Headquarters Substation upon a call arrived on time to help prevent the spread of fire on the premises of TV3.
Even though portions of the reception area of the studio was burnt, the main studio area and the backstage were salvaged from the fire.
Management expressed their appreciation and joy to the GNFS for prompt response in averting a major disaster.
Despite the fact that several staff members were rattled by the incident, there were no reported human casualties.
Nana Ama Mcbrown has not yet provided a statement on the event.
