The mother of Grammy-winning musician and prolific composer Wizkid, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away. According to reports, she passed away early on Friday, August 18, 2023.
Mrs. Balogun died suddenly this morning, about 1:30 am on Friday, according to Sunday Are, Starboy’s manager.
Two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun, were raised by the late Mrs. Balogun.
Born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, Wizkid has not yet shared a statement on the passing of his mum.
The musician has received support on social media from followers and close friends in the wake of the death.
