The current controversy involving former Sanitation Minister Cecilia Dapaah and her substantial riches has inspired Ghanaian actor, farmer, and entrepreneur John Dumelo.
Dumelo couldn’t help but think about the possibilities he could do with just a percentage of her financial resources after seeing how she made news by apprehending her housekeeper and others in connection with missing monies.
John Dumelo indicated that if he had access to such resources, he would considerably increase his onions and tomato farm. He detailed his plans to use the monies primarily to develop new irrigation systems and purchase high-yielding varieties in order to increase production and profitability on his farm.
Dumelo stated in a post about his ambitions, “Only if I had a fraction of Cecilia Dapaah’s $1 million, the importation of onions and tomatoes from Burkina and Niger will decrease by 10% in 2024 and 19% in 2025.” I plan to make a lot of money by investing extensively in irrigation and high-yielding seedlings. So please, God, help me!”
Ms. Dapaah made news when she arrested her housekeeper and others, accusing them of stealing $1 million from her home.
