Black Sherif, a star of the Konongo music scene, has unveiled the official music video for “Oil in My Head,” the second song from his debut album, “The Villain I Never Was.”
Babs Direction oversaw the filming of the masterpiece, which took place at the East Legon art gallery of the Nubuke Foundation in Accra.
The video charts Sherif’s development from a poor musician to an internationally successful performer.
Sherif soars into the sky near the end of the video, reaching a higher dimension of existence.
Brigitte Appiah, a high fashion model and actress from Ghana who was born in Libya, anoints Sheriff’s head with oil in the film.
The video has received about 200K views so far and is currently at the top of YouTube’s trending music list.
