The government has been urged to pay allowances to the Rotational Nurses and Midwives Association’s members. According to the group, its members are going through terrible suffering as a result of the government’s failure to pay their allowances.
Paul Dodzi, one of the group’s members, allegedly passed away as a result of the suffering.
According to reports, the deceased Rotational Nurse committed suicide at Asankragua in the Western Region as a result of hardship.
The National Service Secretariat (NSS) posted the members in June 2022, and they started serving in July 2022. According to the group, the members have not yet received their allowances.
The association issued a statement urging the government to provide the rotational nurses their rightful allowances right away or risk their fury.
