Notwithstanding their recent differences, actor-turned-politician Fred Nuamah has stated that his friendship with fellow actor John Dumelo will not be shattered by politics.
In an interview with UTV’s United Showbiz, Fred emphasized that Dumelo is a brother and that their connection won’t be harmed by political disagreements.
“John Dumelo is not my friend; he is my brother, so I won’t let politics come between us. I won’t let politics destroy our brotherhood. Apart from him being my brother, NDC is one party, so our issue is a house matter,” he stated.
He added that because their political disagreement is a party internal problem, their private conversations are not public knowledge.
In a following interview, John Dumelo disputed all the claims and noted that Fred Nuamah had picked up the paperwork despite being aware of his intention to fight for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency seat again in 2024.
Dumelo declared that he will take part in the NDC primaries and win the 2024 elections notwithstanding Nuamah’s activities.
Although the two actors had a falling out after declaring they would run for the NDC in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the 2024 elections, Nuamah expressed confidence that he would win, citing the favorable outcomes of a poll done by his organization.
