Fameye, a Ghanaian singer, revealed his displeasure over how a gas station damaged his 2019 Honda Pilot Touring after he paid 700 cedis for petrol that was water-mixed.
He claims that the gas station filled his tank with gasoline and water, which ruined his car.
Fameye continued by saying that despite spending $7k already, his automobile is still inoperable.
“So few days ago ,I go buy fuel for one fuel station ,700 cedis, the rest is heart breaking They filled my tank with water mixed with petrol as I’m talking to you now my car Honda pilot touring 2019 model is spoilt .Spent 7k already still not working!!! What do I do?” He said on Twitter.
Fuel stations have been reported to mix gasoline with water or other liquids, mostly affecting automobiles and drivers.
Due to these reports, the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) eventually had to stop the Shell fuel station’s operations.
After the musician posted the tweet, his admirers and supporters have urged him to file a formal police complaint.
