MzVee, a Ghanaian musician, has disclosed that she selected Home Economics as a senior high school (SHS) subject because she was lazy and thought it would be the easiest path for her.
According to her, she quickly realized that the course was taking up so much of her time that she couldn’t read her books, making it one of the most difficult things she had to accomplish.
She indicated that she had lost interest in the course, but that it was too late to change her mind, so she did her best to graduate.
“I chose Home Economics because I was a slacker.
I was unwilling to learn.
It is possible that this is the first time that you have heard of something.
Because the practical takes up so much of your time that you can’t read your book.”
It was difficult, and I learnt my first lesson: nothing in life is easy.
Everything is challenging.
“It’s difficult if you want to succeed,” she admitted.
When asked how she got into music, MzVee claimed she was motivated by a high school colleague to join a girl’s band, D3, in 2012, which became the start of her music career.
She went on to say that, despite having no intention of pursuing a career in music, she was found by Richie Mensah, who liked her voice after she went to the studio with her colleague, Samira Buari.
“That’s the surprise because I didn’t plan on doing music.
This blessing literally stampeded upon me.
“I didn’t go see any producers,” MzVee stated.
