Daniel Benson, alias BNXN, of Nigeria, and Caramel Plugg, an Instagram comic and influencer, have traded barbs.
Caramel stated on one of her podcast episodes, ‘Bants and Confession,’ that women have men for everything and that any guy who wants a submissive woman must be willing to take care of all her requirements because she is dropping every other choice for him.
The other podcasters on the screen with Caramel seemed to agree with her, sparking quite a commotion online.
In response, singer BNXN commented on the situation.
The musician labeled their comments as “dumb notions” on his Snapchat account.
Caramel Plugg answered by recalling when he mentioned how his ex-girlfriend bought him an iPhone.
BNXN responded, saying he liked her better when she was shouting and wearing a bonnet.
Caramel Plugg got to fame by generating content while wearing her characteristic bonnet and highlighting critical subjects.
Several celebs appear to agree with the singer, as many have criticized the comedian.
Although their comments do not include the comedian’s or her comrades’ names, netizens have linked it to their statements.
“For this life, no be everybody go get sense and that’s normal, but why you no go get sense still come still carry mic?” singer Peruzzi wrote in a now-deleted post.
“The same microphone that even presidents and presidential hopefuls fear.”
“Keep the podcasts coming please, I’m pleased we’re all witnessing that a lot of people don’t have sense,” reality TV actress Vee tweeted on her official Snapchat account.
Additional reactions have followed the comedian’s remarks.
