After Manchester City’s triumph over Arsenal, Pep Guardiola hugged Gabriel Jesus and kissed him on the cheek.
The injured Brazilian forward had to witness his previous club Manchester City defeat Arsenal in a thrilling top-of-the-table Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.
Guardiola managed to catch up with Jesus after the game, their first meeting since the 25-year-summer old’s departure, and the City manager kissed him on the cheek and gave him a warm hug before heading down the tunnel.

According to reports, Jesus’ relationship with Guardiola soured near the end of his time at City.
The striker even confessed to ESPN Brasil that he had grown tired of Guardiola’s expectations and that he now feels “free” at Arsenal, but he has been out of action since sustaining a major knee injury during the World Cup.
Jesus played at City for five and a half years, earning four Premier League titles and one FA Cup.
City will return to Premier League play this weekend against Nottingham Forest.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is scheduled to visit Aston Villa, but Jesus will be unable owing to his knee ailment.
