Burna Boy, a Nigerian megastar, has reacted to the loss of South African renowned rapper AKA, who died on February 10, 2023.
Burna Boy came to Instagram on Thursday, February 16th, 2023, to express his shock at the death of South African rapper AKA, who was killed on his birthday in Durban, South Africa.

Burna Boy characterized the news as startling and upsetting, since it depressed him.
Burna Boy went on to claim that while he didn’t like AKA, he never wished him dead.
The Grammy winner also stated that he hopes to find those responsible for the late rapper’s death and that he sleeps in peace, despite the fact that they had a strained relationship before to his death.

Burna Boy and AKA became famed for their collaboration on the popular tune “All Eyez On Me,” which won a MAMA for Best Hip Hop.
The duo also appeared on South African rapper Da Les’s ‘Paid’ and Ghanaian superstar rapper Sarkodie’s ‘Special Someone’.
While it was unclear when and why the two feuded, they had a Twitter dispute after AKA wrote about how he loathed South Africa’s Bafana Bafana constantly losing to Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
