Ghanaian musician Kwame Yogot has opened up on why he broke relations with his record company after his smash song, “Biibi Besi”.
According to him, he believes his record label has stifled his career growth.
In an interview with GiovaniCaleb on 3FMDrive, the ‘Biibi Besi’ hitmaker stated that he is now taking matters into his own hands because he thought he could do so much more but couldn’t due to record limits.
He went on to say that following his big song ‘Biibi Besi,’ he had songs that could have carried him far, but his record label did not agree with him, which made him upset because he was progressing slowly.
He claimed that his new song, ‘I’m Feeling Ok,’ was the final straw that caused him to leave the record since they had instructed him not to release the song.
Kwame Yogot released a new song named ‘I’m Feeling Ok’ on January 13, 2023.
The mid-tempo motivational song was published in the early hours of Friday, January 13, 2022.
Kwame Yogot attempted to instill confidence in his listeners and encourages them to persist in the face of adversity in the song.
The song delivered a message of serenity, prayer, and appreciation while showing his musical improvement.
‘I’m Feeling Ok’ is Yogot’s first single since splitting with his record label, Sky Entertainment.
Perhaps the song’s unspoken message was Yogot’s assurance to his supporters that he is ‘feeling OK’ after leaving the label.
