KiDi, a Ghanaian artist, has revealed that his third album is nearly ready for release later this year.
In an interview with the +44 podcast on Amazon Music, the ‘champagne’ hitmaker told fans that the album is on its way and is 60 percent finished.
“The record is coming this year (2023), and I’m working on it.
“It’s about 60% done,” he remarked. The singer’s debut album, “Sugar,” was released in 2019.
It included songs such as “Gyal Dem Sugar,” “Sugar Daddy” with Mr. Eazi, “Come Thru” with Stonebwoy, “Thunder,” “Adiepena,” and others.
KiDi’s sophomore album, “The Golden Boy,” was released in 2021.
It includes his smash singles “Touch It,” “Mon Bebe,” and “Spiritual,” which featured Kuami Eugene and Patoranking.
KiDi’s second album was so successful that he was named “Artist of the Year” at the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
