Yvonne Nelson, a Ghanaian actress and producer, has shared her worst job experience with six social media celebrities.
In an interview with radio host Naa Ashokor on Asaase FM’s Between Hours program, the award-winning actress acknowledged that November and December of 2022 were some of the most difficult days in her life.
She stated she was filming a reality show with some social media influencers, the majority of whom seemed relaxed when they came on set.
According to Yvonne Nelson, the most of them arrived on the scene unprepared and unaware of their lines for the reality show they were recording.
“I just wanted to fall back and give them an opportunity to shine.
I only intended to play a little part or appear in a single scene.
It was like watching a reality show.
The games, fun, and frivolity were excessive.
She added that she had to fire six of them all at once since they did not appear to be serious, leaving only Jacqueline and another social media star.
They were either late or lacked their lines.
I had to accompany my manager to the police station.
We needed the cops on set because we were dealing with refunds and such.
“It was a big deal,” she recalled.
The CEO of YN Production went on to say that in order to secure a return for the money she paid to these people who did not complete the work for which they were paid, she had to call the cops.
