Since President Akufo-Addo announced the national cathedral, it has been in the news for one reason or another, with many in favour or condemnation of the structure.
However, gospel performer Diana Hamilton, who has yet to react, has stated that she will not discuss the project. The ‘Mo Ne Yo’ singer stated that she has purposefully avoided mentioning the National Cathedral’s concerns and conflicts.
She mentioned on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness show that she is always cautious not to address any problem about which she has very little understanding.
“This is a really delicate matter for me,” she says, adding that she does not become involved in political problems.
“When it comes to things I don’t know much about, I try not to talk about them.
“I don’t do well with governance, and I struggle to comment on problems about which I don’t have all the information,” she admitted.
But “that is a topic I would like to keep for the time being…before I make any comment, I would like to have my facts straight,” she says.
Furthermore, all people who have commented on the cathedral’s construction may have access to information on which they base their decisions.
