Tobechukwu Dubem, also known as Tobe Nwigwe, an American rapper, has stated his respect for some Ghanaian musicians with whom he would like to collaborate.
Tobe Nwigwe nominated Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall singer Stonebwoy, as well as Nigerian artists Burna Boy and Asake, in an interview with Joy News.
Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur and Nigerian singer Ayra Starr have joined Tobe Nwigwe’s partner.
“Out here, it’s Stonebwoy, that boy be going crazy, Kwesi Arthur, that’s my boy, he’s hard, and then in Nigeria, of course, Burna Boy, I like Asake, I like those boys and Ayra Starr, we are trying to connect, we are going to do a lot of stuff in 2023, we will connect and embrace the gap between home and where we are in the states,” he said.
Tobe Nwigwe made his debut appearance in Ghana with his pregnant wife, Martica “Fat” Nwigwe, at the Black Star Line festival.
