Controversial Ghanaian Comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger has reportedly being barred from indulging in social media insults or “beefs”.
this follows her conviction by a Tema High Court.She was penalized GH60,000 (5,000 penalty units) earlier today in a contempt action pending before the court.
Failure to follow the rules put on her, according to Lawyer Maurice Ampaw in an interview, will result in her sentencing. “This is the most recent news, and it is more painful.

“The court ruled that if she engages in social media insults or beef, we should arraign her before court for another term,” Lawyer Ampaw told GhanaWeb in an interview.
“Afia is also barred from engaging in social media beefs, insults, and attacks for the next two years.
“She should be brought back if she engages in a social media brawl,” he continued.
Afia is also said to have signed a “bond of good behavior for another two years, failing which she should be hauled to court for punishment.”
Chairman Wontumi dragged Afia Schwarzenegger and other defendants, including United Television (UTV), to court in July 2022 after she and the other defendants ran commentary on a case pending before the court during an entertainment show, United Showbiz, broadcast on UTV
Felicity Ama Agyeman, alias Nana Ama Mcbrown, Kwame Asare Obeng, alias Kwame A-Plus, and Emmanuel Barnes, alias Mr Logic, were fined GH60,000 (5,000 penalty units) apiece, which they have since paid. Fadda Dickson Narh, an Executive Producer of United Television (UTV), was pardoned by the court after the court determined that he demonstrated contrition prior to the issue being presented before it by apologizing on UTV.
