Manchester United are reportedly close to finalizing a loan deal for Wout Weghorst, with a compensation package agreed upon with Besiktas.

According to Fabrizio Romano, United have negotiated an agreement with Besiktas in which they will pay £2.7 million when one loan deal expires and another is established.
Weghorst is thought to be packing his belongings in Istanbul as the way is paved for him to travel to Manchester.
Weghorst is scheduled to fly to Old Trafford on Thursday for a physical before signing the necessary paperwork, with amicable discussions taking place between all parties – including Burnley – as a January transfer is planned.
When watching Weghorst score nine goals for them this season, Besiktas were first hesitant to let him go, but they have yielded to the striker’s demands after he made it plain that he wanted to chase a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
United’s loan agreement is not likely to include a permanent transfer option.
