In November, a woman by the name of Baby C confronted Eric for the first time.
Eric Akhigbe, a former BBNaija participant, is said to have been detained for allegedly defrauding people by offering them spots in the next BBNaija seasons.
Increasingly credible reports claim that the reality star has been extorting large sums of money from individuals while offering them spots in the BBN house.
The reality television personality allegedly got arrested in the UK.
A teenage artist going by the name Baby C accused out Eric earlier this year for defrauding her of money by giving her a phony BBN spot.
On social media, she admitted that a former BBNaija housemate had conned her out of millions of naira.
According to the reports, Baby C paid the former BBN roommate N5.3m to assist her in getting into the BBNaija house—a deal that didn’t pan out.
She referred to him as a con artist and said that the reality star, with assistance from a second individual who was reportedly associated with Multichoice, had carried out the swindle.
The singer posted images of her conversations with Eric both before and after realizing her money had vanished.
Later, Baby C revealed in an exclusive interview with Legit. ng that the BBNaija celebrity who conned her was in fact, Eric. She said, “Eric was my friend. We were in the same department at Unilag, and we were close to an extent. When he got the final confirmation that he was going to be in the house, I was one of the first people he called and asked me to support him. I formed a group and raised funds for his campaign.”
The singer or his legal correspondents have not commented, and the specifics of the purported arrest or con have not been confirmed.
