Christopher Nkunku came out in support of France colleague Eduardo Camavinga after the forward was injured in a training incident.
On Tuesday, France announced that Nkunku had suffered a leg injury as a result of a tackle by the Real Madrid midfielder during a pre-World Cup training session, shutting him out of the tournament and keeping him out for RB Leipzig until the new year. As a result, Camavinga received racial internet abuse, which the RB Leipzig forward quickly addressed in a tweet about his early World Cup exit.

The French Football Federation (FFF) also condemned Camavinga’s abuse, writing: “Eduardo Camavinga was the target of racist insults on social media following Christopher Nkunku’s injury. The FFF strongly condemns these insults and stands in complete solidarity with Eduardo.”
