An Accra Circuit Court has granted bail to Evangelist Patricia Asiedua Oduro, also known as Nana Agradaa, in the amount of GHS50,000.
The accused was granted bail of $50,000 by Presiding Judge Samuel Bright Acquah, with three sureties of civil servants earning at least $2000 a month.
She is also required to report to the Prosecutor every Wednesday.
Despite this development, the former priestess will remain in police prison as she faces similar allegations in Circuit Court 10.
Nana Agradaa was detained after certain public members accused her of running a money-doubling scheme.
The police said in a statement: “Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action to assist the investigation.”
The investigation was initiated following reports that have come to the attention of the Police on the matter.”
The statement continued: “We would like to urge anyone with information that can assist the investigation to report to the Accra Regional Police Command at Accra Central close to the COCOBOD building.”
Some victims claim they went to Nana Agradaa’s church because she advertised on her TV show that she would be tripling money during Friday’s all-night session.
