After receiving a nomination for the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards and releasing his debut album, ‘The Villain I Never Was,’ the music star has received another prestigious nomination for the 2022 MTV EMA. Blacko is up against Burna Boy (Nigeria), Tems (Nigeria), Ayra Star (Nigeria), Zuchu (Tanzania), and Mnike in the Best African Act category (South Africa).
The MTV EMA 2022 will be held at the multi-functional indoor venue PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The event will be broadcast live on MTV in over 170 countries on November 13 and will be available globally on Paramount+ and Pluto TV starting November 14.
Germany is hosting the tournament for the sixth time this year.
