Arteta, the Arsenal manager, uses a direct approach to put an end to the Aubameyang beef. After leaving the north London club for Barcelona, Aubameyang was recorded criticizing the Gunners manager in a recently leaked video. He mocked Arteta by remarking that the man in charge of north London couldn’t handle “large characters.” Later on, he issued a statement clarifying his remarks and wished Arsenal luck for the upcoming campaign.
“People are free to say whatever they want”, Arteta remarked in response to a question about Aubameyang’s remarks.
He praised his soldiers when asked further about the ambiance in his current dressing room. He said, “Phenomenal, I’ve never been in a better dressing room. More enjoyable, more hard-working, better relationship with the staff to players and it’s an absolute pleasure as a coach to be part of this group.”
The Chelsea star will the chance to settle the score with Arteta when their clubs square off on November 6 at the Stamford Bridge. The Gabonese, who has been in excellent form lately, scored against AC Milan to assist his team advance significantly toward Champions League knockout stage eligibility.
