As CEO of the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors, Patrick Kwaku Ofori succeeds Senyo Hosi.

Senyo Hosi, the Chamber’s first CEO, will be stepping down after ten years of excellent service, and he will be filling the void left by his departure.

Dr. Patrick Kwaku Ofori will take over as CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors on August 1, 2022, the organization has announced. Senyo Hosi, the original CEO of the Chamber, will be leaving after ten years of admirable service, and he will fill the position left by his departure. “After a thorough evaluation and interview process, Patrick has been chosen to succeed him, and the Chamber feels he has what it takes to lead our chamber to greater heights,” said Ivy Owusu, head of CBOD. Senyo has our sincere gratitude and we wish him the best of luck in all of his future endeavors.

The Chamber communicated its earnest appreciation for Mr. Hosi’s authority as well as his talented support for organizations that took part in Ghana’s oil downstream industry. The new CEO of CBOD, Dr. Ofori, has over 16 years of assorted leader proficient involvement with fields like advanced education, sports, and the oil and gas business. His scholastic certifications remember a Ph.D. in Sports Psychology from the University of Stirling in Scotland and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Ghana. As well as being an ICSEMIS and Commonwealth Scholar, he is likewise an individual from the last association.

Before this, he worked for GNPC as a Manager overseeing institutional reporting and stakeholder relations.
In addition, Dr. Ofori founded and serves as the head of the University of Cape Coast’s Department of Sports Science. Since CBOD is well-known across the country for its contribution to the downstream sector and its interactions with industry players, Dr. Ofori said, “I was particularly pulled to this role.”

“My predecessor established the groundwork for constructing an exceptional chamber. To continue being effective, we will advance together on this. Being excellent is something that both I and the CBOD community are interested in. To satisfy the demands of our partners and members, we will work hard. An accomplished management executive with a wide range of expertise, Patrick Kwaku Ofori (Ph.D.) is a certified sports and exercise psychologist.
