Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown says that despite having an emotionally taxing pregnancy, her pregnancy went smoothly.
The award-winning actress said she had a smooth and trouble-free pregnancy after undergoing two different IVF treatments to conceive in a new interview on We Got This Africa with Naa Ashorkor.”My pregnancy went well,Everything went so smoothly; I was sleeping, eating, and experiencing no response or vomiting.
When I started researching what to eat and when to sleep, it wasn’t about me anymore; it was about the kid instead, so I only stopped having sex at that point.
Detailing how she broke the news to her husband and his reaction, she shared;
“He was ready for any news. He saw me going through the procedures, he saw the anxiety, he was ready for any news. He was hoping for me to get pregnant because he understood that was the one thing he had to do for me to be happy.”He initially expressed skepticism and accused me of lying when I told him I was expecting. For him to trust me, I had to provide him a picture of the outcomes.
He made a brief call, asked for an early close, and left for home.
You could see the excitement on his face when he got home, but I quickly informed them that we would no longer be having sex whiles on his period.
