Lydia Forson has called out Gabby Otchere-Darko over what she depicts as ‘despicable propaganda’ against the continuous Arise Ghana showing.
The Arise Ghana exhibit which began yesterday ended up being turbulent after some protestors conflicted with some cops. Remarking on the conflict, Gabby Otchere-Darko portrayed it as dishonorable.
“A normal of 250 protestors “emerged” for the demo today. Scores of them chose to pelt the police with stones, blocks, and so forth harming them. Fortunately, the police wouldn’t be incited and stayed proficient. I don’t know whether this is what the coordinators planned. Dishonorable!,” the NPP stalwart said.
Notwithstanding, as per Lydia Forson, Gabby’s remark is only political promulgation against the continuous showing being arranged by the coordinators to point out the financial difficulty in Ghana under the NPP government.
“SHAMEFUL is this propaganda when we’re not sure if these “scores” were a part of the original protestors. What was supposed to be a peaceful protest turned dangerous with both police/civilians sustaining injuries,” Lydia Forson replied to Gabby’s tweet.
That’s what she inferred “what we want is a legitimate investigation concerning how this occurred
In the meantime, as per the Ghana Police, 29 ‘Arise Ghana’ demonstrators have been captured in association with the chaos.
As indicated by the police, the coordinators of the dissent will likewise be charged under the watchful eye of the court. In a proclamation duplicated to the media, the police said the capture was because of the demonstrators’ contribution to the “vicious assault” on cops.
