Actor and comedian Michael Blackson says Ghana has more concerning issues to manage than the structure of a National Cathedral. He accepts major problems are irritating the country and its kin which require consideration from the public authority than involving citizens’ cash to raise a building as a guarantee to God. As per Blackson, one of these issues incorporates the exorbitant costs of fuel — and how it doesn’t compensate for the typical Ghanaian’s pay in a year. About that, he uncovered that burning through cash on fuel in California, USA, is similar to Ghana — however, it shouldn’t be so.
“I went to buy gas [fuel] today… I live in California – it’s just the same price in Ghana,
“Why is gas the same price in California as it is in Ghana? It makes no sense.”
“The average income in California is probably $250,000 a year. The average income in Ghana is about $150 a month. We have bigger problems than a cathedral,” he added.
He asserted that an answer for this issue is expected to make life reasonable in Ghana. As a component of making life “reasonable” in Ghana, Michael Blackson is “setting aside guardians some cash” by paying for their children to go to class.
