Nigeria’s Federal Government has recorded 23-count charges as a detriment to Peter Nwachukwu, spouse of late well known gospel craftsman, Osinachi, who passed on April 8 after he purportedly attacked her. He was charged under segments 104 and 379 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015, by the Attorney-General of the Federation. The litigant was accused of blamable crime in spite of segment 221 of the Penal Code which is culpable with death.

The case with charge number, CR/199/2022, was documented at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on May 20, 2022, by the Head, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, Department of Public Prosecutions of the Federation, Ministry of Justice, Mrs Yewande Gbola-Awopetun. The 42-year-old artist passed on subsequent to going through days at an undisclosed emergency clinic in Abuja. Nwachukwu was subsequently captured by the police after partners of Osinachi, who was a lead vocalist at the Dunamis International Headquarters, Abuja, blamed him for beating her
